Area 51 Nevada

This site will explore any information about Area 51, which is also known as Special Projects, Groom Lake, 2260 and "There's nothing here."

Before I became a small time actor in Hollywood I spent several years in Las Vegas, Nevada. I worked for a company called EG&G which was very much involved with Special Projects. SP, as it was sometimes called, was later referred to as 2260 and Area 51. I know the area was a secret in 1961 and it is still a secret today. I would guess only a few people know the overall scope of Area 51.

If there is a contact between Earth and a civilization from outside the Solar System, the operations headquarters is located at Area 51.

If any alien population wanted to do some mining on planet Earth, it would probably go unnoticed in Nevada. Silver and gold mines dot the desert landscape. Nevada has tax advantages for businesses, corporations and LLcs, so it is possible for mining companies to make more profits in Nevada. Nevada is also famous for its casino entertainment.
