Area 51 Nevada

This site will explore any information about Area 51, which is also known as Special Projects, Groom Lake, 2260 and "There's nothing here."

Area 51 security has developed a reputation for being aggressively hostile to any intruders. They probably have many stories from their viewpoint but I have not yet heard any security person speak out.

This is what amounts to strange lights from China.

Before I became a small time actor in Hollywood I spent several years in Las Vegas, Nevada. I worked for a company called EG&G which was very much involved with Special Projects. SP, as it was sometimes called, was later referred to as 2260 and Area 51. I was never at the main part of the site but I talked with many people who were there during my time with EG&G, which was from 1961 until 1974. I have never known what they did there, exactly, only that it was very secretive. I did work for two days at a warehouse at Area 51. My experiences are told in a video on Page 9.

There were many more "flying saucer" or "UFO" reports in the 1940s and 1950s before Area 51 began its official operation. It is possible news media were more willing to report the stories before the Roswell event became a source of attention from thug type officials. Stories from that time claim to have seen the wreckage of an unearthly vehicle.
